This should actually be called a good-knitting-karma blanket. All the pretty yarn came from my friend Christine. And surely if I help her reduce her yarn stash, I get some good knitting-karma points, don't I?
I started this blanket whilst on a visit to Boston and it was quite a fast knit as five days later when I was back in Lithuania, the blanket was finished. It was knit with 4mm (US6) needles and is a nice, airy and light blanket. It can still be used to cover up my two-year-old, but most of the time this warms her dolls.
The pattern (back in May it was still a free one) is clearly written and was easy to follow. I've seen bed-cover-sized blankets on Ravelry and I must say I easily see myself making another one. Or maybe a similar one. After all, there are still many different patterns to try.
