First of all, I promise to blog about my wips soon. This is the last of the finished and blocked knits in the series.
I really do not know what got into me when I volunteered (!) to test knit this shawl/shawlette. It must have been the pattern and the fact that I knew exactly which skein of yarn I could use for it. As soon as Chrissy called for test knitters, I was there, ready to cast on. I have been thinking of knitting a red shawl and giving it away as a present, but now that I have one, it is all mine. I ran out of yarn, only few rows before finishing the whole thing. This "dipped" effect gives more interest to the finished shawl, in my opinion.
The pattern will be out soon, so should you wish to have a Refraction Shawl to call your own, you soon can.
Each time that I knit a shawl I am amazed that I actually can do it. All this lace looks so complicated, but I find it quite relaxing to work. I will try to not wait that long to knit my next shawl.
Thank you, Chrissy, for this opportunity!
