taking it seriously

 

This is my progress on my first fair-isle project this year. I've been wanting to knit a cardigan for myself, but I thought I'd start small and first knit one for my daughter. I also wanted to play with vertically running motifs instead of horizontal ones. I'm at the sleeves now and I've briefly considered knitting those in pattern. For simplicity sake I'll be keeping them plain.
