It's been hard finding the right words for the starting post of this new year. Should I go with goals/ intentions/ resolutions? Or maybe I should just start in media res and post an fo? I decided to do a little bit of both.
This is my new hat, knit from leftovers from Rikke.
Last year's goals were almost all met. And that made me feel so very good about myself. So, for this year I'm setting myself a motto: fair isle. That's it, no specifics as to how many items or how big they should be. I enjoy fair isle a lot, so that's just a way to remind myself that I should also knit it more often.
Some random numbers at the start of the year:
- 151 Rav projects, 36 finished in 2012, which might be wrong as I did not care to double-check it twice.
- 104 items queued.
- 2 new chocolate cake recipes learnt by heart.
