A winner and giveaway II

I decided to do it the old fashioned way and not go for random number generator. That way, once all is mixed up, there's no difference anymore who commented first or second. :) One person was eliminated as indeed family members are not allowed to participate at this giveaway. And especially non-knitting family members as that would have meant that I would have had to knit something for my sister. That's not the reason for this giveaway. I do know what this yarn is good for and I would use it if I had the time, if there were no other 100 projects that I'd like to knit first and and and.

First, I wrote all the names down.

Then it was all cut out. And folded.

My little one helped me to get it all mixed up nicely.

And then a winner was chosen.

Congratulations, CelticCastOn! Please let me know your address so that I could get the yarn into the mail for you.

OK, and now onto the second giveaway. This time I have some nice mohair yarn for you. It's Kid Seta Madil, 70% super kid mohair and 30% seta/ silk. A total of four skeins, so it's definitely enough for a bigger project. I bought this yarn initially to knit something out of this, but I changed my mind about the colour.

To enter the giveaway this time, please write down what you'd use this yarn for. I'll be choosing the winner next Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at 9 am GMT. Good luck, everyone!

  1. Congratulations CelticCastOn!

This mohair yarn looks delicious too :)

  2. Congratulations to the winner!
This yarn is just excellent! I'll try again your luck! Thank you!

  3. I love how you did the last draw instead of just a random number generator!

I just knit my first lace mohair wrap using a lace scarf pattern on larger needles and I love it!

If I won the yarn I'd do the same thing again - the search for the pattern would only be the start of the fun.

BTW love those chubby little hands helping you with the draw!

  4. Ooh...I would definitely knit a Rock Island shawl!

  5. I think I would knit Aimee http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/aimee

  6. OHHH thats ME!
I was reading your blog while working on my sweater. Saw my name on the list, then again in the pile but was completely surprised when it was at the end as well :) Had to do a double take. Thanks so much, I'll email my info.

  7. I could use some more yarn. Thanks for the givaway.

  8. Such pretty yarn. Love your little helper hands with your last giveaway. If I were to win this yarn, I'd make a cowl with it. Just have to find the perfect pattern to highlight the wispiness of the yarn!

  9. Congratulations for the winner!
O aš ir vėl bandau laimę. Būtų labai smagu ką nors raudono mocherinio nusimegzti (nors jau ir turiu raudoną šalį, bet vieno juk negana :D )
