FO: Yellow bee socks

I had this urge for yellow socks and I've been eyeing this pattern ever since I saw Jasmine's version here.

This is a nifty pattern, but it leaves quite a bit room for 'designing your own' sock. If I take on this ever again, I'll leave out the 'swarm' section and rather do more of the bee sets.

Overall, it is a pattern that needs quite a bit of focus whilst knitting. I took the second sock to my knit-circle last night (was right at the 'swarm' section) and did not utter a word. I didn't want to mess it up shortly before the finish line.

I'm afraid that's how yellow they are! :D

FO: Spiral

A long due post... This cowl was finished back in May when I was lying on the couch with two broken legs.

I used Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend for this cowl and whilst silk is great against skin, it definitely streches a lot. But the dye-lot and the stitch definition are simply a dream. This was also the first time that I tried picot-hem and felt as if I discovered THE secret for neat edges.

Pattern: Spiral Cowl (Rav link). A free pattern and knits up in no time. A great last-minute gift project.

FO: Shades of Blue(s)

Pattern: 198 yds. of Heaven by Christy Verity. Knit on 4.00 mm circulars in literally one day whilst waiting for the dearest to come back home from a business trip. :)
A very wearable knit and I might replicate this a couple of times more before Xmas.
