shoe problem

To what kind of shoes should I move to for the winter? After 3 months in Yara Birkenstocks my feet feel cramped if I put any other shoes on. Also, heels are a no-go. I feel like falling down each time I have them on. So I need help - cool weather is moving in and I have no wearable shoes so far. Any suggestions out there?

  1. My most comfortable walking shoes are Clark's. I'm very picky about my shoes, so I like the Clark's that are made in Brazil. They're so comfy that I can spend 10 hours a day walking in them and not feel pain. :-D

  2. Hi there. I've been lurking around on your blog for a while (got linked over from Ravelry). I wear Birkenstock sandals all summer too. For winter I like shoes by Vialis (a cool Spanish shoe design company--a bit like Camper). You can check them out here:
The shoes are made from beautiful, butter soft leather and quite comfortable. Clarks are super comfortable but I find they only have a few designs each season that look fun and not frumpy. Good Luck!

  3. You should give Birkenstock clogs a try! Also, I second the Clarks recommendation. I just got a pair back home and they are super comfortable. Try

  4. Hi Siga!
Oh, I know the feeling. The shoes in the picture looks so cool. I tend to wear flat shoes all the time.
BTW I LOVE your long fingerless gloves from the last post!

  5. can't believe I would be writing this but...
try UGGS? ugly shoes and shouldn't be really worn outside the house but definitely got the warmth factor.. and not sure if they weren't too slippery once rain/snow/ice settles in!
