without a comment

While I was frantically browsing the web for a new knit inspiration, I came across this. The phenomenon is called yarnbombing and was started several years ago by knitta group. It's not exactly a project I was looking for, but what a great way to get rid of UFOs and yarn leftovers.

  1. Yarnbombing always looks cool, but every time I look at it I think "What a waste of precious knitting!" I'm too selfish I guess - I want all my knitting to become treasured heirlooms. Thanks for coming to read our blog!

  2. Cool!!! that is so amazing! The writing on the bus is in Japanese so this must have been done there. :O
BTW, you have made a wonderful cardigan and the shawl. Love the color! Hope you have a great week.

  3. Hey, thanks for your comment on my blog!
Thanks for the book recommendation. I had a look at the reviews on goodreads, and it seems to be many of the same principles as in another book I'm already reading - The Simple Living Guide by Janet Luhrs. This book just deals with all areas of one's life, I find it very interesting, and I don't think I can deal with too many guides at one time right now.
Maybe in the future I will read it - but for now, finance is not my biggest issue (easy: I don't earn much and don't spend much. try to put a symbolic amount aside every month. I only get problems if I earn a lot).
Thank you very much for your recommendation!
By the way, I think it was through your blog that I came across the story of stuff! Thank you so much for posting! Here in Denmark it hadn't been on the news - well, now it is, but already after I've seen it.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment.
